IF YOU ARE IN AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP GOD WANTS YOU TO FLEE ABUSE!!!! This is the message that I got off the internet and I fled the next morning.Domestic Violence is a serious problem in America. 3-5 women die each day form being beaten to death by an intimate partner in America (FBI). I spent 4 years in an abusive relationship and married for 1 of those years. Mine was more so emotional and verbal - I believe I left in time before the physical violence began. But I thank God my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who sparred me because no one else helped me . I prayed and almost sold my home and fled to another part of the nation. But one day I told God I can not and will not take it anymore. I was going to fix it. That next day The DA told me the would change his bond to a warrant and he has been in jail since that time period. Thank God because I was being stalked I had trouble sleeping, whenever I got a job he would stalk me at work I lost jobs. I am a professional woman, veteran andlove God. These men prey on women who love God they think they are weak and try to take advantage of the woman. They are here to kill, steal and destroy you and your Life; if your involved with one. I have an organization promoting the public awareness of domestic violence, abuse and stalking to help women fleeing domestic abuse. I am working on my Ph.D with a concentration in Domestic Violence and Abuse. I am also a speaker on motivationa nd overcoming adversity. If interested and would like for me to speak, email me. Also, I am curretnly in and out of court for him stalking and violating his protective order. This ordeal has been hell. The police act as if you are the batterer.Well, my trial is tomorrow and he will probably get probationa and the Global Protective System this monitors him whereever he is; so he can stay away form me. This is Father Michael Orr writing. Dominion Family Services is looking for Partners to help put the spot light on family violence in Southeastern-Michigan by participating in the sponsorship of our “Walk for Peace 2007” a walkathon on September 29, 2007. We are raising money to support counseling programs for men and women who have been victims and/or perpetrators of family violence.

We know that families do not always break up, so we must deal with toxic relationships. In the church and outside the church. Everyone can't or won't get out of an abusive relationship - be they victim or perpetrator.

Dominion Family Services tries to answer the calls of families experiencing this devastating attack on their happiness and joy.

If you're in Michigan, come out and help us raise awareness about this important issue.
