Anyone other than myself wonder how a lone gunman can spend hours driving all over town killing people, take a time out to drop off mail, and then continue on with his killing spree and law enforcement doesn't have a clue?

Was law enforcement even alerted to the first shooting? I can't remember the details, but I remember there was some kind of misstep after the first shooting spree

It wasn't that simple. There was a lone shooting on one side of the campus and then he fled and apparently went to the post office. From there he went to the other side of the campus and began massacring people. He also had the doors chained shut so even if cops had arrived it would probably of done nothing to stop the blood bath in time.

Noah has a great point here. It wasn't necessarily a shooting spree at first. Just a single homocide, by a sadistic young man. It slowly developed into the massacre that we have come to know, but this could have all been avoided had people stopped being so arrogant and mean, because people look, act, and just are different from them
